\u00e9t\u00e9 fond\u00e9e par le <strong>Bienheureux Guillaume-Joseph Chaminade<\/strong>. D&#8217;origine fran\u00e7aise, il est n\u00e9 en 1761 \u00e0 <strong>P\u00e9rigueux<\/strong> dans le Sud-Ouest de la France. Tr\u00e8s jeune d\u00e9j\u00e0, Guillaume d\u00e9montre un attachement \u00e0 Dieu et veut le servir comme pr\u00eatre. Il a une d\u00e9votion particuli\u00e8re \u00e0 <strong>St Joseph<\/strong> dont il ajoutera le nom au sien.
