Brothers Jules Along and Justin Ayena made their final vows in the Society of Mary this Saturday, October 3, 2020. By delegation, the vows were received by the Regional, Father Jonas Kpatcha during the mass celebrated by the Bishop of Sokode Monsignor Célestin-Marie Gaoua in the presence of the Marianist family and the two families. Due to the Covid pandemic, places have been limited.
We wish them the best in their future mission at the side of Mary.
It was also a time of thanksgiving for the silver jubilee of presence of the Marianist Brothers in Sotouboua. In fact, the first Marianist brothers arrived in Sotouboua in 1995, the second foundation after that of Kara in 1958. They are: Father Hugo and brothers Moïse and Stanislas. The Society of Mary was thus the first male congregation to be established in the Diocese of Sokode. May this mission continue to embody the Marianist charism in the Diocese.
